QVA Process Technologies (PTY) Ltd. was formed in 2002 to market and manufacture Process Equipment and provide technology to the African Minerals market. It has the exclusive rights to the MEP/STOKES Teetered Bed Seprator.

The company has two shareholders namely Mark Craddock and Peter Hand. Both have extensive experience in Mineral Process and Equipment.

Log washers are used to de-agglomerate clay and for cleaning gravel and stone from clay or other contaminants. Feed size -32 +2 mm material.

The TBS Hydrosizer is a hindered settling Classifier, which is used to separate mineral particles into two groups either by size or where there is a mixture of relative densities, by specific gravity.

It uses an upward current of water to create a 'column of teeter' within the vessel.

Process Description

The Hydrosizer is used in many parts of the world for fine coal beneficiation processing a wide variety of steam coal, metallurgical coal and anthracites.
